What the fleet has seen

The Nicholson 32, as the fleet has seen it

The Nicholson 32 is a masthead sloop with a long keel, designed by Charles A. Nicholson and Peter Nicholson, and built by Camper & Nicholson, Halmatic Ltd., and Nicholsons from 1962 to 1981. With an LOA of 9.8 meters and a displacement of 5533 kg, it was one of Camper & Nicholson's most successful yachts, with hulls molded by Halmatic. The design underwent several changes during its nearly 20-year production run, and some later boats were sold directly from Halmatic. Rudder Yachts of Australia also built some boats under license starting around 1968.1:17 The model is considered a suitable long-keel vessel for blue water cruising, capable of ocean passages without immediate shore support.
