The Xquisite Yachts SIXTY SOLAR SAIL is a 60-foot performance cruising catamaran, designed by Bill Dixon of Dixon Yacht Design and built by Xquisite Yachts and Phoenix Marine in South Africa since 2023.0:43 It features a fractional sloop rig and a twin keel hull, with an LOA of 18.8 m, a beam of 8.9 m, and a lightship displacement of 27,500 kg.8:46 The vessel emphasizes self-sufficiency through a hybrid propulsion system, integrating twin 110-horsepower Yanmar engines with 15-kilowatt electric motors that can generate power for a 44 kWh Li-ion battery pack.1:47 Six kilowatts of tempered glass solar panels are integrated into the hardtop, powering 48-volt DC systems, including air conditioning and induction cooking.5:08 The deck layout supports single-handed operation with all downwind sail sheets routed to a central helm station equipped with hydraulic furlers and electric winches.3:27 Aboard *Gone with the Wynns*, sea trials in the Bahamas showed the boat maintaining 6 to 7 knots in 10 to 12 knots of true wind, with its electrical system powering residential appliances for several days without a generator.3:50 Redundancy features include dual autopilots, dual watermakers, and a rainwater collection system.7:51
