The Ericson Yachts 38 is a masthead sloop designed by Bruce King and built by Ericson Yachts from 1979 to 1987, featuring a fin keel with a spade rudder. It measures 11.5 meters LOA, 3.7 meters beam, 1.5 meters draft, and displaces 6350 kg. The model offered multiple draft options, including a standard shoal draft of 1.5 meters, an optional wing keel at 1.52 meters, and a deep keel at 1.98 meters. A variant, the Ericson 38-200, introduced around 1986, shared the same hull but featured a new deck, coach roof, and interior.
