The Baltic Yachts 46 is a 14.1-meter Masthead Sloop designed by C&C Design Group and built by Baltic Yachts from 1973 to 1977. It features a fin keel with a spade rudder, a 4.1-meter beam, 2.3-meter draft, and displaces 12110 kg. Aboard SEILmagasinet, the first hull of the Baltic Yachts 46 underwent a 13-month refit in Jakobstad, Finland, before attempting a 1,000-nautical-mile delivery to Oslo.4:00 The vessel encountered sustained 22 m/s winds and steep waves in the Baltic Sea, leading the crew to divert to Sandhamn, Sweden, due to fatigue and the lack of a smaller headsail option.7:09 The journey to Oslo was completed via the Göta Canal.17:21
