The Bavaria Yachts 44 VISION is a fractional sloop designed by J&J Yacht Design and built by Bavaria Yachts from 2007 to 2011. This fin-keeled sailboat with a spade rudder measures 13.7 meters LOA, has a 4.4-meter beam, a 1.8-meter draft, and displaces 10,400 kg. An optional deep keel draft of 2.1 meters was available. Aboard *Sailing Big Lost*, the crew purchased a Vision 444 catamaran in Florida after a survey, rigging inspection, and sea trial revealed minor issues like a worn sheet line and faulty bilge pump.27:50 During a haul-out, a 50-foot catamaran sideswiped the vessel, causing minor hull damage.24:34 The crew of *Adventureman Dan* sailed a 44-foot Vision catamaran named *Umbono* in the Bahamas, using its elevated helm to scout shallow reefs for spearfishing, an advantage over a monohull's lower sightline.2:24 They caught African pompano, mutton snapper, and hogfish, later preparing the fish dockside and aboard.12:18
