The Bavaria Yachts MATCH 35 is a 10.5-meter fractional sloop designed by Doug Peterson and built by Bavaria Yachts from 2004 to 2006, featuring a fin keel with a bulb and spade rudder. This model, with a displacement of 5388 kg and a 2.0-meter draft, was used on the World Match Racing Tour, and a shallow draft version was also available. *SEILmagasinet* identifies the Bavaria Yachts MATCH 35 as a competitive, underrated option for regatta-focused sailors, noting its more traditional cockpit.2:48 However, *SEILmagasinet* also advises inspecting the keel for historical structural issues, a concern echoed by *Practical Sailor* regarding the larger Bavaria Match 42, which experienced a keel failure in 2005 leading to a mandatory reinforcement retrofit.10:23
