The Beneteau 361 is a Masthead Sloop designed by Berret-Racoupeau and built by Beneteau from 1999 onward, featuring a fin keel with a bulb and a spade rudder.0:49 This 11.1-meter (36.4-foot) sailboat has a beam of 3.8 meters, a draft of 1.5 meters, and displaces 6055 kg. It was also marketed as the Oceanis 361 and in charter versions like the Moorings 362 (2-cabin), Moorings 363 (3-cabin), and Stardust 363 (3-cabin). The Beneteau 361 has a solid fiberglass hull with a bonded structural grid and a balsa-cored deck.4:44 While it performs adequately in moderate conditions, it can develop significant weather helm when overpowered, requiring timely reefing.7:09 Owners should inspect deck fittings for water intrusion, as well as the rudder system for stiff bearings or excessive play, and keel joints for damage.5:32 The two-cabin layout offers a larger galley and a dedicated shower compartment.3:13
