Aboard *Sail Vessel Khalifa*, a Hunter Marine 36, the crew upgraded their electrical system to lithium-ion batteries to power Starlink, a refrigerator, and a freezer, noting they use only 15% of their available capacity.19:41 This crew, cruising in Florida, reports the boat has remained structurally sound during their voyage from Brazil, despite common criticisms of the model's offshore durability.21:16 They plan to replace a Quick windlass and have purchased spare parts for their Yamaha 3JH5E engine and Schenker watermaker in preparation for a circumnavigation.2:49 The crew also installed a Mantus anchor swivel and acquired a portable depth sounder for shallow anchorages.33:51 The Hunter Marine 36 has a fin keel with a spade rudder, a beam of 3.4 meters, a draft of 1.5 meters, and a displacement of 6123 kg.
