The Lagoon 570 is a 17.0-meter fractional sloop catamaran designed by Van Peteghem and Lauriot-Prevost, built by CNB from 2000 to 2008. It has a 9.1-meter beam, 1.4-meter draft, and displaces 14,979 kg.0:45 Lagoon, a Beneteau Group division, began as a Jeanneau racing program before shifting to luxury cruising with its first 55-foot model in 1987.1:22 The brand became a mainstream manufacturer after the 1999 introduction of the Lagoon 380.3:07 While later models like the 420 Hybrid and 450 faced reliability and structural issues, Lagoon maintains a large service network and is a dominant presence in the global charter fleet.4:06
