Pearson Yachts 37

The Pearson Yachts 37 is a Masthead Sloop designed by William H. Shaw, built by Pearson Yachts from 1982 to 1986. This 11.2-meter sailboat, with a 3.6-meter beam and 2.0-meter draft, was part of a transition from full-keel CCA-era boats to the IOR-influenced racer-cruiser market. The original model features a balsa-cored hull and a 6-foot-6 deep fin keel, with a displacement-to-length ratio of 195 and a sail area-to-displacement ratio of 18.7.
