The Seafarer Yachts 29 is a Masthead Sloop designed by McCurdy, Rhodes, built from 1972, with an 8.8 m LOA and a fin keel with a rudder on skeg. It displaces 2998 kg. Seafarer Fiberglass Yachts offered the model in a standard trunk cabin version and a Futura raised deck model, with some sold as kits. A keel/centerboard version and an IOR half-ton racer configuration were also available. The Seaward 29, a different vessel, features a Nelson-designed round-bilge hull, a full-length keel, and twin Yanmar 4LH 240-horsepower diesel engines, reaching 24 knots.1:28 Its deck includes non-slip surfaces, stainless steel rails, a bathing platform, and an electric windlass.2:34 The cockpit has a full enclosure and shore power.5:54 Inside, a helm station features Raymarine electronics and a Garmin GPSmap 276CX.9:14 The forward cabin contains a galley with a Wallace diesel hob and microwave, a Jabsco electric toilet, and a third berth, heated by an Eberspacher Airtronic diesel heater.11:14
