The Vancouver 34 PILOT is a 10.4-meter cutter-rigged sailboat with a long keel, designed by Robert B. Harris and built by Northshore Yachts Ltd. between 1994 and 2005. It is a deck saloon variant of the Vancouver 34 Classic, featuring a 1.4-meter draft and a displacement of 6350 kg.25:01 Its sail plan includes a 22.57 m2 mainsail, a 22.67 m2 yankee, and a 9.57 m2 staysail, with an optional 40.41 m2 genoa. The Golden Globe Race 2026 considers the Vancouver 34 among eligible vessels, which must be production fiberglass boats between 32 and 36 feet, designed before 1988, with a full keel, a rudder attached to the trailing edge of the keel, and a minimum displacement of 6,200 kilograms.24:53
