The Hallberg-Rassy Rasmus 35 is a 10.5-meter masthead sloop designed by Olle Enderlein and built by Hallberg-Rassy from 1967 to 1978, with the first two boats constructed of mahogany and subsequent hulls made of GRP. This long-keel, center-cockpit vessel displaces 5488 kg with a 1.3-meter draft, and was available as a sloop or ketch. Aboard *WhiteSpotPirates*, the 1978 Hallberg-Rassy Rasmus 35 *Santana* is described as an offshore live-aboard cruiser with a 45% ballast-to-displacement ratio and a deep center cockpit offering protection from spray.20:26 Its full-length keel provides directional stability and structural protection, while the shallow draft allows access to tight anchorages, though it can complicate low-speed maneuvering due to a small rudder. *Santana* is powered by a 39-horsepower Volvo Penta D2-40 engine and carries 430 liters of water and 270 liters of diesel.7:32 The deck features original thick teak screwed into a closed-cell foam core.6:40 Owners of *Santana* find the side-galley and small salon cramped for two people and two dogs.5:34
