While clearing customs in Savu Savu, the crew explores the local market and bus station, noting the availability of fresh bread and affordable local meals. They subsequently sail 30 miles to Coro Island, anchoring off a resort. Finding the existing moorings in poor condition, they deploy a stern anchor with additional chain and rode for security. The crew reports high humidity and temperatures, noting the need for frequent bedding washes.
