The Hans CHRISTIAN 41 is a heavy-displacement, traditional cruising cutter designed by Scott Sprague and introduced in 1985.0:34 Built by Anderson Yachts Ltd. in Taiwan and later by Pantawee Marine Co., Ltd. in Thailand as the TRADITIONAL 41, it features a fin with rudder on skeg hull, a massive bowsprit, and a cutter rig.4:26 The 12.4-meter (41-foot) vessel displaces 16,102 kg (40,000 pounds in cruising trim) and has a 1.9-meter draft and a 4.0-meter beam.watch Its split keel design improved light-air performance and windward ability compared to earlier full-keel models.1:40 The interior is characterized by high-quality teak joinery, with the Molokai layout, featuring twin heads and double berths, becoming standard after 1994.5:03 Fifty-five units were built, and the model is known for its robust construction and sea-kindly motion, making it suitable for long-distance ocean passages, though it is not as fast as modern production cruisers.5:30
