The Tartan Marine 34 C is a 10.5-meter masthead sloop designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Tartan Marine between 1968 and 1978. This keel/centerboard vessel, with a 3.1-meter beam and 2.5-meter draft, was the first Tartan 34 model, later designated with a 'C' for 'classic' to distinguish it from subsequent designs. Its mainsail foot was shortened at least twice during its production run to improve balance or lower its IOR rating.
