The Pogo 50, designed by Finot-Conq and built by POGO Structures since 2012, is a 16.1-meter sailboat with a Solent rig, a swing keel, and dual rudders. Its 8899 kg displacement and 3.5-meter draft contribute to a SA/disp of 35.9. The 2022 Pogo 50, named OAYA, features a dual-pod Oceanvolt electric drive system with 40-horsepower motors and a 48-volt battery bank, charged by shore power, a solar array, and propeller regeneration.3:37 It uses a Sparcraft carbon rig with a self-tacking jib and a furling gennaker.4:54 Aboard OAYA, the saloon is gimbaled to keep the sofa and table level while the boat heels, and the cockpit includes a hardtop with sliding windows and a removable cabrio roof.17:51 Technical systems, including a water maker, compressors, and Victron power management, are housed in dedicated port and starboard compartments.9:18 The interior features induction cooking, three refrigerators, and an owner’s cabin with an expanded double berth.21:55 The transom has a carbon fiber passerelle and a full-width bathing platform with an integrated lazarette for dinghy storage.15:27 The Pogo 50's deck salon design eliminates aft cabins to increase interior volume and storage, and the navigation station offers an exterior view.0:39 The cockpit's gimbaled table and integrated fridge enhance comfort, while sheets are routed away from the forward seating area for safety.1:50
