The Rapido 60 is an 18.1-meter trimaran sailboat designed by Morrelli and Melvin, built by Rapido Trimarans in Hong Kong since 2015. It features a fractional sloop rig with a rotating spar, a daggerboard, and a displacement of 9000 kg. Aboard *Sailing La Vagabonde*, the crew launched their custom-built Rapido 60 in Vietnam, navigating logistical challenges with crane operations and tidal constraints.0:26 The vessel, equipped with a 23-meter rotating carbon mast and a leather interior, was suspended at a steep angle during its launch to clear obstacles.15:13 Its construction involved a multi-phase fit-out, including the installation of cabinetry and electrical systems, with structural components like daggerboards and rudders made from prepreg carbon fiber.0:12 The boat's 48-volt electrical system powers propulsion, refrigeration, and navigation equipment, including Harken winches and an anchor windlass, using 46 lithium-ion battery cells.6:43 The helm station integrates B&G navigation equipment, autopilot, and bow thruster controls.10:17
