The Voyage Yachts 440 is a 13.3-meter fractional sloop catamaran designed by Simonis - Voogd and built by Voyage Yachts between 2001 and 2004. It has a beam of 7.7 meters, a draft of 1.2 meters, and displaces 9,184 kg. Aboard *Sailing Supernova*, a Voyage 44 catamaran served as a training vessel for an International Yacht Training commercial captain’s license, where the crew practiced solo docking, mooring ball pickups, and man-overboard drills in tight, shallow dock spaces.15:00 The *Indigo Lady*, a 2002 Voyage 440, was converted to electric propulsion in 2016–2017, replacing diesel engines with electric motors and removing the mast and rigging; it now uses 7,000 watts of solar panels and a 32kWh lithium battery bank, retaining a diesel generator for backup. *Adventureman Dan* noted the *Indigo Lady*'s 33-kilogram Rocna anchor with 400 feet of 3/8-inch chain. *MJ Sailing* installed Southco 316 stainless steel hinges and cam latches on forward sail locker hatches, de-coring the foam between fiberglass layers and backfilling with thickened resin to prevent water intrusion.0:07
