The Amel Super Maramu is a 16.0-meter masthead ketch designed by Henry Amel and J. Carteau, built by Amel from 1989 to 1998. It features a wing keel, a 2.0-meter draft, and displaces 16,000 kg. The Super Maramu replaced the Mango 52 and was succeeded by the Super Maramu 2000 in 1999. Standard engines included the Perkins MT80, Volvo TMD22A, and Yanmar 4JH4-HE. Its ketch rig provides 121 sq m of sail area with main, genoa, and mizzen, expandable to 190 sq m with a ballooner and mizzen ballooner.
