It features a fin keel with a bulb and spade rudder, a 3.3-meter beam, a 1.4-meter draft, and displaces 4229 kg. A similar version was sold as the Moorings 32.2. Aboard *Sailing Gently*, the Beneteau 323 is prepared for hurricane season in Guadeloupe by securing it in a permanent marina berth, removing exterior gear, and doubling mooring lines.1:37 The owner maintains a surveillance camera for remote monitoring and employs a local contractor for fortnightly checks.8:53 This crew finds Caribbean marinas, particularly in French islands like Guadeloupe, offer subsidized infrastructure and reliable services, with annual berth fees for a 32-foot vessel averaging €3,000.4:52 The Beneteau 323 is considered a reliable and comfortable modern production boat, suitable for single-handed sailing in trade winds, and offers better reliability than older, cheaper projects.20:46
