The C&C Yachts 39 is a 12.0-meter masthead sloop designed by Cuthertson, Cassian, and C&C Design, built by C&C Yachts from 1971 to 1974. It features a fin keel with a spade rudder, a 3.5-meter beam, 1.9-meter draft, and displaces 7711 kg. Aboard *Epiphany*, a C&C 39, the crew installed a SeaWater Pro modular watermaker, requiring custom plumbing and component placement to fit within limited storage, producing 20 gallons per hour.0:28 After grounding in hurricane surf, the crew undertook a staged electrical recovery, using shore power and a Honda 2000 generator while troubleshooting a salt-damaged ignition system and drying out the interior with fans.watch The crew also replaced rusted swim platform chains with heavier galvanized ones and repaired a recurring dinghy air leak and a broken prop hub using 3M 5200 adhesive and davits for access.0:10 They reinforced the swim platform with heavier aluminum angle and repaired a rust-damaged refrigerator door using an aluminum angle bracket and 3M 5200.14:41 While anchored in Biscayne Bay, *Epiphany* dragged two anchors in a severe thunderstorm before a 73-lb Rocna anchor held fast.3:00
