The Outremer 45 is a 13.7-meter fractional sloop catamaran designed by Gerard Danson and built by Outremer (Atelier Outremer) between 2000 and 2014. It has a twin daggerboard hull, a 7.2-meter beam, a 2.2-meter draft, and displaces 7,250 kg. The model features a 73 m2 mainsail, a 33 m2 genoa, a 110 m2 gennaker, and a 140 m2 asymmetric spinnaker. Grand Large Yachting owns the Outremer brand.10:25 An Outremer 45, *Luna Bay 2*, sank in May 2025 in French Polynesia after striking an unidentified floating object, with investigations revealing significant water ingress at the sail drive.1:39
